What it gets right
The client-facing quote experience is genuinely impressive. Quotes look professional without any design work — your logo, clean layout, itemised pricing, optional extras the client can tick, and an Accept button they can click from their phone. When a client accepts a quote at 9pm on a Sunday because they finally read it, and you get the notification before you've had your morning coffee, that feels like software working properly.
The optional items feature is underrated. Instead of sending three different quote versions ("here's the basic, here's with the upgrade, here's the full works"), you send one quote with the extras clearly marked as optional. The client selects what they want and accepts. The quote you accept is the quote Xero invoices — no ambiguity, no back-and-forth.
The automated follow-up sequences are where I've personally won jobs I would have lost to inaction. Most tradies get busy, forget to chase the quote, and lose the job to whoever followed up. Quotient follows up at the timing you set — professionally, automatically. You can customise the message. It feels personal. It isn't.
